Willy Vauban in Luxembourg

Hiya. If you're one of those people who have just arrived in Luxembourg or if you're considering coming over here (probably for a job opportunity), you might find this blog interesting. My aim is to let you know a bit about the place: what's good (most things), what's not so good (not a lot) and generally what it's like to live here, including everyday joys and frustrations. And not least, I hope to give you the low-down on a lot of practical information and perhaps even some history - as soon as I discover it myself...

  1. I'm an expat in Lux too. Where was your blog when I needed it a year ago :) Looking forward to reading about your impressions of Lux.

  2. Hi, I am looking for moving to Luxembourg as my boyfriend has found a job in finance. I am in the advertising, marketing and P.R sector. I'd like to know the opportinities in this sector, as well as other things such as weather, best areas for shopping, eating, going out, living...

    Thanks!

  3. Hey!

My boyfriend and I will be moving shortly to Lux.
He is already employed but I would like to know if its really hard to find a job on a entry level (admin. assistant, reception,...)for me, considering that i speak basic German, but fluently English?
I would also like to ask you, if you can give me some suggestions where I can find some good rental apartments?

Thank you very much for your answers!

    Take care
